WHERE PROHIBITED Sweepstakes Period: The LesserEvil Dream Vacation 2027 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on March 1, 2027 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on May 31, 2027 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the 50 U.S & D.C., who are 18 years or older as of date of entry (“Entrant”). Employees of LesserEvil LLC (the “Sponsor”), Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (the “Administrator”) and their respective subsidiaries, affiliate companies and advertising and promotions agencies associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”) and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit the LesserEvil Dream Vacation 2027 Sweepstakes website at www.lesserevil.com/sweepstakes (“Website”) and then complete and submit the entry form as instructed to receive one (1) entry (“Entry”) into the Sweepstakes.
Limit one (1) Entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period. Entries received in excess of this limitation will be void. Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different accounts, devices, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant's Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Automated Entries are prohibited and use of any automated or computer system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification if detected. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service may apply. If participating via mobile device, standard phone data rates and usage charges imposed by your phone service provider may apply. All Entries shall be the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Winner Selection/Odds: The Administrator, an independent judging agency, will conduct a random drawing to select the winners on or about June 2, 2027 from among all eligible Entries received throughout the entire Sweepstakes Period. The odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible Entries received throughout the entire Sweepstakes Period and compliance with the exact requirements of these Official Rules.
Winner Notification/Verification: The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by email and/or U.S. Mail and be required to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility, Release of Liability and a Publicity Release (except where prohibited by law) as instructed within five (5) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. The First Prize and Second Prize winners will be notified by email and/or U.S. Mail and may be required to execute and return an address confirmation/eligibility verification form as instructed within five (5) days of notification attempt or prize may be forfeited and an alternate may be selected. Return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate selection. Noncompliance may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.
Prizes and Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”): Grand Prize (1): A four (4) day / three (3) night trip of the winner’s choice of destination in the contiguous 48 United States with one (1) travel companion. Includes three (3) nights’ double occupancy hotel accommodations, round trip economy air transportation, a $750 travel stipend awarded as a check, and one (1) case of LesserEvil snacks, awarded either as actual product or as a check or eCheck [based on one (1) case of product] ARV: $4,600. First Prize (5): A Sponsor-specified luggage set including Carry-On, Medium Spinner and Large Spinner and one (1) case of LesserEvil snacks, awarded either as actual product or as a check or eCheck [based on one (1) case of product] Individual ARV: $620 and total ARV of all First Prizes: $3,100. Second Prize (10): A Travel Technology Package including Charger/Power Bank & Sponsor-specified tracking tag with puck and one (1) case of LesserEvil snacks, awarded either as actual product or as a check or eCheck [based on one (1) case of product] Individual ARV: $250 and total ARV of all Second Prizes: $2,500.
Total ARV of all prizes: $10,200. Limit one (1) prize per person/household/email address. Actual retail value of Grand Prize trip may vary due to winner’s chosen destination, residence and time of travel; if actual value is less than indicated approximate retail value, Grand Prize winner will not receive the difference in cash (or otherwise). Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winners are solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes and all other costs and expenses associated with their prize(s) not specified herein as being awarded. No transfer, resale, cash or other substitution of a prize except Sponsor may substitute prize in whole or in part for one of comparable or greater value for any reason. Actual prizes may differ from items depicted in advertising/promotional materials. Grand Prize winner and their travel companion must travel at the same time on same itinerary as set by Sponsor/Administrator. Grand Prize trip must be taken within one (1) year of date of prize award or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected, time permitting. Winner’s choice of destination is subject to approval by Sponsor. Grand Prize trip is awarded subject to availability and certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All travelers must have valid travel documents prior to departure (i.e., Real ID-compliant driver’s license or Real ID-compliant non-driver ID, passport, passport card or other TSA-approved ID; visit www.tsa.gov for a list of TSA-approved IDs). Failure to obtain required travel documents by Grand Prize winner may result in forfeiture of prize and alternate selection, time permitting. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed. Grand Prize trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles or other “perks”. If Grand Prize winner lives within approximately 150-miles of destination city (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), he/she will receive ground transportation to/from destination or a Sponsor-specified travel stipend and will not receive additional compensation of any kind in conjunction with such prize substitution. If any Grand Prize winner chooses to travel without a travel companion, the prize will be awarded in increments appropriate for one (1) traveler (i.e., the Grand Prize winner) and winner will not receive additional compensation of any kind in conjunction therewith. A minor going on the trip as the travel companion of the Grand Prize winner must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times (i.e., the Grand Prize winner). Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets. All other travel expenses and costs, not expressly listed above, including, but not limited to hotel, taxes, insurance, telephone charges, room service and laundry services, personal expenses, gratuities, entertainment, transfers, incidental charges, or any other items not specifically described in these Official Rules, any transportation not mentioned within such prize descriptions and all expenses for any of the foregoing are the sole responsibility of Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize winner and travel companion irrevocably waive all claims against the Sweepstakes Entities and agree that the Sweepstakes Entities will have no liability or responsibility and shall be held harmless by entrants for any claim arising in connection with a potentially heightened risk of exposure to communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses (including, without limitation, COVID-19) and the causes thereof, and sickness arising as a result of a winner and/or travel companion participating in the Sweepstakes and related activities, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur. A 1099 tax statement will be filed with the U.S. IRS for the Grand Prize winner for the actual value of the prize for the year it is awarded.
General Rules: By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use winners’ names, comments and/or likenesses and photos for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law; and, winners agree to confirm such permission in writing at Sponsor’s request without compensation. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Website or the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the Entries in the Sweepstakes or for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, accessing or downloading information in connection with the Website or Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to ownership of any Entry, the authorized account holder of the account used to register will be deemed to be the Entrant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an internet access provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the account associated with the Entry. Proof of entering information via the Website does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of such information. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for the failure of any Entry to be received on account of technical problems or congestion on the internet or on any Website. Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right at its sole discretion to disqualify all Entries of any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes or Website may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sweepstakes Entities failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes or Website, then the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and select the winners from among all eligible Entries received prior to Sponsor’s action or to otherwise make the prizes available to be won in a manner deemed by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on the Website. By participating in the Sweepstakes and accepting a prize, the Entrant agrees to hold the Sweepstakes Entities harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use or misuse of any prize or participation in the Sweepstakes and the Sweepstakes Entities will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by Entrant for any liability for any bodily injury, loss, cost or damages of any kind to persons, including death and property damages sustained, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entry creation, the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or participation in the Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes or related activity.
Governing Law & Venue: Any and all disputes relating to the running of the Sweepstakes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania exclusively, and subject to the internal, substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to the personal jurisdiction of such courts; waive any right of change of venue, forum non conveniens or like right; agree to bring any action regarding the Sweepstakes individually (not as part of a class action); and agree that their recovery shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in participating in the Sweepstakes (if any) and waive any and all damages (including but not limited to compensatory, punitive, consequential or incidental damages) as well as any right to attorneys’ fees. With respect to disputes, should there be any conflict between the laws of Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Data Collection: Sponsor collects personal information from Entrants when they enter the Sweepstakes (and for when they may be deemed a winner of the Sweepstakes) for use in administration of the Sweepstakes. The information collected is subject to the Privacy Policy located at https://lesserevil.com/pages/privacy-policy.
Winners List: For the first initial, last name, and state of residence of the winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope by July 31, 2027, to: LesserEvil Dream Vacation 2027 Winners, PO Box 7760 (Dept. 01-2814-04), Melville, NY 11775-7760.
